Breakfast and A Brother’s Love
This morning my youngest brother set out to eat a special breakfast for himself – dried fish (daing, not tuyo) and eggs (yumyum!). I also wanted a special breakfast for myself – pan de sal (bread) and eggs, cooked sunny-side-up (yumyum too! haha!) My brother offered his eggs to me, so that I won't have to cook for myself, and he opted to have fried tomatoes with fish paste (bagoong) instead (a better combination if you ask me). A simple act, but one that truly warmed my heart. Thanks Arjyd!

Journey to Home
Woohoo! Finally! I am able to start this blog! I have been meaning to write one for the longest time, wasn't able to do so for a variety of reasons (lack of time, lack of a definite purpose, a tinge of laziness (haha!), and many more). But now I am just thankful that it is now started. It is quite crude at the moment, but I do hope that in time it will get better.
I am a born-again Christian. My life revolves around God. At least I try my best to make it so. To be honest there are a lot of fallings along the way, but with God's grace, I find my way back. I view myself as a son taking this journey back to my home in heaven – thus the title of my blog. Let me share bits of my journey with you, in the hopes that we will all learn a lot along the way.
In the stories that will follow, you will read very serious, religious, and pious stories, that is typical to all Christians…NOT!!! Haha! But kidding aside, I somehow think that the general idea about Christians is that we are very serious folk, one that cannot be talked to about the things that happen in everyday life. That is so wrong. We are still human after all. You will be surprised how “normal” Christians can be. But I won't deny that most of my stories will center on my faith. But fret not. It should not prevent us from enjoying casual, nice, and meaningful discussions. I assure you, you can feel free to discuss and comment anything. Well…along as it is within the bounds of not harming anyone else.
So with that, welcome to my blog! Enjoy!
